We’re two brands rooted in Hawai'i. Our designs, a reflection of the nature and environment that surround us. The Tori Richard x Island Snow Bowling Shirt is an ode to our island home. It starts with the story behind the embroidered art. About twenty years ago, the Island Snow team was given a handmade painting by Japanese artist, Chise. The original art piece was painted on a small canvas, tiny enough to fit in a purse. Our team, wanting to replicate the print as closely as possible, studied the art and magnified it to a greater scene as visualized on the back of this stunning Silk Lyocell silhouette. Working with the Island Snow team also allowed us to add smaller details that truly make this print one-of-a-kind.
