Graphic Design Manager

As compelling content is crucial to all aspects of omni-channel marketing and communications, this role will report to the Sr. Manager of Marketing. This role supports the development of content for all parts of the Tori Richard Ltd business and brands, and will assist in the establishment and maintenance of effective service level agreements for all customers, both internal and external.

The Manager oversees a department of two graphic designers as well as managing relationships with external partners and suppliers. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is accountable for helping shape the public image of the company. This is achieved by managing the company’s perception through brand appropriate imagery and communication, understanding the importance of timing, deadlines, and responding appropriately to a fast-paced environment. The Manager will assist in regularly analyzing and evaluating consumer insights and analytics, deliver innovative marketing campaigns, and provide feedback on how to elevate the customer experience.

Some of the weekly to monthly tasks will include the following:

  • Ensure that the corporate brand is consistently understood & communicated, both internally and externally.
  • Deliver on seasonal creative assets, campaigns, and advertisements that align with both the Tori Richard and Kahala brands.
  • Provide/approve all graphics assets on a technically sound level; including but not limited to; digital, television, and print advertisements, website product images, videos, and assets, direct mail, and email campaign designs to support all channels of the organization.
  • Manage all image handling
  • Manage and execute photoshoots; included but not limited to; product alignment with stakeholders, prepare shoot plan, budgets, and maintain relationships and service agreements with agencies and/or models.
  • Coordinate studio shoots as needed to support wholesale and marketing initiatives
  • Develop, collaborate with, and motivate the direct reports and the teams needed to execute these tasks
  • Executing the marketing plan as set forth by the Sr. Manager Marketing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related area (4+ years of Agency/ Digital Marketing experience preferred
  • Proficient skills with the Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro)
  • 3+ years print media and coordination
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient technical competency and previous experience in working in both marketing and web production e-commerce environment.
  • Knowledge of current online trends in the industry
  • A positive attitude towards collaboration, and initiative with a “can do attitude” to ensure company goals are met
  • Website merchandising experience is preferred
  • Prior experience with online retailing and marketing in a B2C/B2B setting is preferred
  • Copywriting/editing skills preferred but not required
  • Consumer apparel experience preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, stoop and or twist
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull, reach and manipulate objects with right/left hand(s).
  • Ability to turn, bend with some twisting

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
