COPYWRITER & DIGITAL CONTENT SPECIALIST
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To be further defined in an ongoing manner collaboratively with the Sr. Manager Marketing & eCommerce, duties and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Copywriting & editing (product descriptions, landing pages, social posts, and other internal & external communications).
- Developing and maintaining all digital platforms, including Meta, Google and any future platforms.
- Developing and executing rich content for online marketing with contract support where appropriate.
- Regularly reading and keeping updated on trends and news in the resort and general apparel space.
- Conducting research and designing annual and quarterly content and digital marketing plan as well as identifiable KPIs and targets.
- Driving and/or collaborating on strategy for developing SMS/MMS outreach and advertising, apps, etc. as needed.
- Identifying and making outreach to community partners, brand ambassadors and key social media influencers to support brand awareness and drive digital online sales.
- Supporting photoshoots, and otherwise supporting the Graphics team as needed.
- Collaborating with the Kahala brand Content & Digital Marketing Specialist on ideas, tools, and tactics to continuously learn and evolve our brands’ storytelling and selling capabilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related area and/or four years of Digital Marketing/Social Media management experience preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient/Working knowledge of Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Asana or similar, Analytics Tools, Adwords, Facebook Ads page management, paid search, and display advertising.
- Some technical competency and previous experience in working in both marketing and web production e-commerce environment.
- Knowledge of current online trends in the industry.
- A positive attitude towards collaboration, and initiative with a “can do attitude” to ensure company financial goals are met.
- Organizational and time management skills are a must.
- Prior website merchandising experience.
- Prior experience with online retailing and marketing in a B2C setting.
- Expertise with multi-channel customer acquisition.
- Copywriting skills.
- Consumer apparel experience preferred.
